Imagine a cozy setting, perhaps a living room or a converted office space. A small group of people come together, not for a formal performance, but for a बैठक (baithak) - a gathering - where they can immerse themselves in the intricate melodies of raag sangeet (Indian classical music).

A Recent Baithak
Anunaad's recent gathering, "Anunaad - Phalgun Baithak," held on March 17, 2024, exemplifies their approach. Hosted by the gracious Shri Anil Raje and family at their Arera Colony office space, the event featured a captivating morning raga performance by the gifted vocalist Sarang Phagre. Accompanied by the rhythmic mastery of Makarand Halve on the tabla and the soulful strains of Ojas Shivde on the harmonium, Sarang took the audience on a melodic journey through raags Jaunpuri, Deshkar, and Bhairavi.
The private, invite-only event resonated with heartfelt appreciation from the audience. Contributions flowed freely, not just as a token of enjoyment, but to ensure that Anunaad's melodious gatherings continue to grace the Bhopal art scene.
